    A thought for today

A wise man should consider that health is the greatest of human blessings, and learn how by his own thought to derive benefit from his illnesses.”

    - Hippocrates

Absolutely! I wouldn't have achieved half the things in my life or enjoyed and made the most of those tiny, insignificant yet wonderful moments if I hadn't suffered from M.E. Coping with illness is the hardest lesson to learn but the reward is a stronger, more positive side of you which you didn't know existed.

    Keep your chin up :>>

    Here's to a happy, healthy, you :)

  • Big hugs, Franpal...'what doesn't kill you should make you stronger' is another saying that I found quite appropriate with my physical disabilities and illnesses...oh, and quite a considerable amount of anger and swearing too, plus a healthy dose of humour...that always helped me...LOL..

I think Jen has it just right, a bloody minded attitude mixed with a good sense of humour gets you through.

I totally agree - always try to keep a positive attitude and be grateful for what you can do at any given moment. I too suffer with ME/CFS and I just wanted to say hi. I have added you to my blogroll 'cos Lord knows we need to keep as upbeat as we can. Keep smiling!

    Hi Fran,

Noticed you haven't posted in a while – not a pressure to do so, but just a little note to say hope things are going well. I see you're still posting your writing regularly on your other blog so trust that means good things – important to keep those creative juices flowing if possible (and that's something I want to work on myself).

    all the best

    • Hi Tired Boy

Yeah I have been quite busy lately what with work and family stuff so I haven't had much chance to post.

I am working on a new article 'ME and Sleep' which I will probably post before the end of the week and yes I am keeping the creativity flowing through my writing because I enjoy it so much.

Hope things are going well for you too

      :)
